Booked in with someone for a Friday consultation, only to show up and be told that it had actually been booked for the Thursday (something I would never have agreed to as I specifically had plans already for that Thursday). This was the last day of the sample sale and so I completely missed out on that as a result of miscommunication. They still did not have the decency to offer me a make-up appointment. I called to complain and ask for the booking fee back, only to be told that I could schedule (and PAY FOR) another consultation and that the price of both would be taken off the dress.

Can't speak to the quality of consultations, but the dresses in person looked much cheaper and tackier than the images online. There were a lot of people waiting around and the place felt cold and unwelcoming (another reviewer was right to compare it to a travel agent). I also felt spoken down to by the man at the main desk; he gave me a catalogue and asked me to "next time come in after hav

Worst experience. Sister getting married in 6 hours and after having to choose a second dress just last week as they couldn't get the alterations right, we have just seen that the veil they have given us has come away from the clip and has a whole right over the face.

After being excited to go to here, turned up, staff sitting on table drinking coffee, it's a glass building. Staff offered no advice to my body shape and did not suggest alternatives. Only tried on 4 dresses then hour was up. Dresses were filthy. Felt like a number rather than a personalised bridal service. Hugely disappointing and would not recommend to anyone

I visited Pronovias in search of my 'dream dress', where I met an 'angel from fashion heaven', Bojana. Within 5 mins she nailed my taste & body shape PERFECTLY. I found THE ONE thanks to her! From what I thought would be a stressful event, became a dream come true because of Bojana! She has an amazing eye for fashion, truly gifted, friendly and KNOWS WHAT SHE IS TALKING ABOUT! Easy to take advice from s/one so stylish too. Wish she could dress me every single day. She's the girl you want as your friend for life - beautiful disposition. I am so wholeheartedly thankful to have met her!!!!!!

I was also a bit concerned about the negative reviews but I loved the dresses so booked in. I had no problems with the booking process and when I arrived I found it a really good experience. Bojana, who assisted me, was lovely and really helpful. I was on my own and her opinions were really useful. There was a good selection of dresses (the slight mark down is that there were some that I had wanted to try that weren't in stock) and shop is lovely. They were well organised and no pressure, she happily fitted me in for another appointment so I could bring my friend so all round a good experienc

After reading the reviews and after discussing it with friends who have been to the store,I went to the store expecting to be confronted with poor customer service and a snobbish attitude. However, it was the extreme opposite!!!!! The best experience I've had! Being a big size 16 with most samples being a size 10 I did feel a little embarrassed to try on dresses and model them in the open as most women were doing but the assistant named Hanna put me at ease. The customer service was on point & I bought my dress! Amazing!!!!!

After reading some of the reviews online I first wanted to avoid this store but a colleague who went there a few years ago encouraged me to book an appointment. If you book it online they call you back and I had no issues. I liked the slick and professional setup, sample dresses are in top condition, the changing rooms are cool & spacious. My consultant was Bojana who was so sweet and helpful that I really felt comfortable and special. She makes sure u relax and feel like a princess. She was also there when I had a follow up app with my mother and friends. Bojana made it a unique experience.

Be honestly the wedding dress is gorgeous! But the service is very very poor!! Staffs and manager are really snobbish, with bad customer service attitude! They always charged more money and have made some hidden costs, and push you and hurry you to make a rush decision to buy it. Anything they can do is charge you more money!!! Would not recommend to friends and families.

Having read the negative reviews, I went expecting the worst as I figured it can only get better afterall! I went with my Mother and Sister on Saturday 4th May, and I have to say we couldn't fault the service. We were welcomed by a lovely lady called Isobel who explained how the appointment was going to work, and then we were introduced to Sham who was going to be working with us. Sham was FANTASTIC, and from 122 dresses available, led us to my dream dress after only trying on 6 dresses. We were offered a drink at the beginning, and also had Champagne at the end. You MUST visit this place!

I had my appointment at Pronovias in New Bond street last week , our lady, her name is Hanna, was very helpfull, gave me advice and was really friendly. However we haven't been offered a champagne only a glass of water and I did felt rushed by the end, because they only give 1 h to each bride...

Awful wedding shop that I wouldn't recommend even to my worst enemy. I read really bad reviews about the Bond Street store, but had already made an appointment and loved the dresses on the website so decided to try it out myself, hoping I would have a different experience. The day before I wanted to cofirm my appointment (no-one called like they said they would). I tried to call on average about 30 times. No-one answered the phone until 5 o'clock and when they did it was like they were being harassed. When we arrived there were four women simply standing there nattering, we were then shown dresses and I was told I wasn't allowed to try any of a particular style on, because they would be too small (sample sizes from a fashion show). I'm size 8 and could tell some of the dresses looked like my size, so when I did persuade the lady to let me try one, I felt a little triumph when it did up :) Anyway, we were completely rushed and it was as though we were just a complete inconvenience the whole time. I felt SO uncomfortable and unwelcome, even if I had found my perfect dress I don't think I would have bought it from that shop. I think that says it all. I don't know who these women think they are. We were spoken to in a rude manner several times and I wouldn't go back there even for a free dress! BEWARE. I've heard the one at Harrods is better so try this store instead.

My daughter and I were wary of coming here after reading the reviews, but our visit yesterday was wonderful. Our assistant, Hanna, could not have been more polite and helpful. She advised on styles of dress after asking about the venue to get an idea of what would suit. And she was constructive, helpful and honest about the dresses when my daughter tried them on. She found her perfect dress, but we were completely unpressured to go ahead and order it immediately, being told to go away and have a think about it and come back to retry it later. My daughter and I were positive that this was 'the dress', so we ordered it straight away. The fitter took measurements and an appointment for the first fitting was made. It was a dellightful experience and a very happy day. Thanks Hanna!!

I visited this store in September 2011 and travelled from Ireland for the appointment. Upon arriving,I was not warmly greeted but sharply told to take a seat without a mere hello. There were four staff members behind the desk and I almost felt as though I was inconveniencing them with my presence.

I was taken downstairs to browse at gowns where another appointment was taking place. There was no privacy for the other bride and myself and my guests felt intrusive and uncomfortable. There was not a great variety of dresses compared to what is shown on their website. My assistant was not overly creative and we were not even offered a glass of water during the appointment.

I felt very underwhelmed by the experience overall and would not recommend this store. All brides deserve a memorable experience when searching for their wedding dress and this store did not provide this from my personal experience.

Well where do i begin.....

I have to very strongly disagree the the last few reviews on this site

I made my first and last visit to the flag ship store for Pronovias on Bond Street.

I arrived at the store which looks lovely from the outside, on entering i was ignored for 10 minutes plus.

I approached the desk which had six women dressed in black lounging around it, when i asked if i could book an appointment I was told there were none available at present.

As myself and my two friends turned to leave we heard "I am the ****ing manager you silly cow" being said in a raised voice by a lady in a dirty grey t-shirt with pink bra showing. As myself and my two friends were the only people in the shop at the time we presumed it was aimed at us.

We promptly left the shop.

As we were on Bond Street this is not the level of behavior or appearance that i had expected and I was truly shocked and dismayed as this was the first day of planning my wedding.

I will never recommend this store to anyone in the future.

When I first came here to purchase my wedding dress, although the assistants were lovely, I was ill advised and wrongly informed about the length of time my chosen dress had been in their collection for. Whilst ultimately accomodating when I returned to change my order, the customer service I received was shocking. I even had to stop the eye-rolling, disgruntled assistant and ask whether there was a problem. After lengthy correspondence with Pronovias and the store manager in regards to changing my dress, none of the contacts I had been in communication with could be bothered to see me on the day. Plus, when people around us were guzzling champagne (something we also enjoyed during our first visit as part of a sales pitch), on our return my mother was not offerered so much as a glass of water.

The service was honestly so bad that I left wanting to cry and had we not been contractually bound, we would have requested a refund.

This is not to say their dresses aren't beautiful, but having also been to Pronovias at Harrods I would highly recommend this in stead of the Bond Street branch as the setting is more intimate and the assistants more honest and helpful. If you do go to Bond Street however, request an upstairs changing room in advance as downstairs is like a bridal factory.

This place is fantastic. The staff member I dealt with was so nice and friendly, which is a big difference from what Ive had to endure in other stores! She helped me with everything and really made me feel comfortable, the store is great aswell, quite large and airy. The only thing that let it down is that it didn't have all the 2009 stock which now leaves me having to find somewhere else to try on one of the dresses I loved on the website
