Moved into the area recently. This chap has helped me save 100's by practically telling/showing me how to do all the small diy bits in our little flat.
At last I have also found a place who can actually cut keys which actually WORK! lol...
A lovey small hardware store round the corner from ours, life coudnt be any easier, he has great local knowledge too on local take aways and services. I recommended he change his shop display and "lo and behold" after 2 weeks he did! I would say though his shop is a very old school atmosphere, dont expect things to be in the places you expect it to be.

Today I phoned to ask whether they did Dulux paint. I was told they did. I went in to get it and was told they didn't. I said that I had been told they did and the answer was 'who did you talk to? This is my shop.' I said I didn't know who I talked to but they shouldn't argue with me. I was just telling him what happened. 'Get out of my shop' was the response. They will have to an awful lot of improving before I go in again.
