Looked everywhere to find a place where I could get alterations made to a dress. I found Image at Fonthill Rd and they provided a first class service. Friendly staff and high quality work. I'm very pleased with the end result.

Munever is amazing. I'd had a dud alteration done on my wedding dress elsewhere and was very stressed and worried when I arrived at IMAGE that the dress wouldn't be right for my big day. Munever worked miracles including a redesign in one area of the dress. She was patient and determined to create a final product that I was happy with. The workmanship was good and above all she was just so supportive and knew her craft incredibly well. Thank you IMAGE for salvaging my dress and restoring my excitement to wear it.

My husband is blessed with good looks and adorable eyes but not height and therefore has to have his trousers always shortened. I on the other hand am blessed with a beautiful size 14 curvy figure which means that the best high street clothes cut out for straight figures do need some alterations for me.

We both use Image for our alterations and cannot praise the staff enough for going over and above the call of duty to offer a personal and professional service. The alterations are done with a professional finish and they go the extra mile to make sure it is a perfect fit. Thank you Image!

i am a customer of Image by Munever for nearly 15 years. It is Christmas season and people are quickly to complain but never put the effort in to say the good things in life in general. Here it goes

I have been using Image by Munever, N4 very near to the tube for about 14 years. If people do well I think they should hear about it. I had my expensive evening gowns amended, cloth in general and one winter coat & always had the result delivered I expected. I also brought my velvet curtains to Image and they done it brillantly. I learned my lesson going to a cheaper tailor /dry cleaner ones shortening curtains it was a disaster. You have to pay for what you get. Compare it to cheap shoes or good quality ones which last a long time. Well done Image by Munever you really care.Thank you. Dorothy

I have been using Image as my tailor and drycleaner for more than 10 years. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I have always found them dependable and their work is of high quality. They have always been extremely careful and devoted in everything they have done for me, and the results really show it -- I always get both women and men coming up to me to ask: "Where did you get this made? It's gorgeous!" Not only that, the whole team is welcoming, friendly and good fun to visit . . .

Nice polite people but terrible service. Twice late getting my dry cleaning done (once for a suit I needed for a wedding). Once completely forgetting to patch my trousers and then still not having it completed when I went back the next day but STILL CHARGING ME as I needed them that day. Then recently quoting £55 to shorten the sleeves on a blazer when a place around the corner had quoted £15 and could turn it around three times as quick. They need to improve their management of work and orders and also need to do some price benchmarking with similar tailors in the N4 area..

I went to Image because of the previous reviews and I am so happy I did. I needed a suit tailored to my body (I'm female) and they did a wonderful job. So many changes were required that it was almost a new suit, but you wouldn't know, it just fits wonderfully. I am now going to take 2 more suits for the same treatment. I whole heartedly recommend using Image.

Nb: It should be noted that they specialise in tailoring and have at least 4 tailors.

I am a professional performer and have therefore very specific needs when it comes to having my costumes cleaned, mended or new ones made. 'Image' is an absolutely perfect place for all of the above:
The staff is very helpful, friendly, extremely skilled and totally open when it comes to creating something new and unusual. They really take pride in their work and this can be clearly seen when you wear the finished product: a high-quality piece, that is durable, utterly beautiful and unique. Good to see that craftsmanship and artistry can go together so well!

Munever who runs Image is a marvel - very friendly and professional with great skill. She has mended and altered a number of things for me, including some expensive dresses, and done them all beautifully. I recommended her when a friend needed a wedding dress altered at short notice (and between Christmas and New Year!) and she got it done perfectly with the minimum of fuss. The shop is lovely too, very cosy and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I too am shocked at the one star review below. This place is really good at what they do. I have never had a problem with them. They first fixed a pair of jeans, followed by a jumper, both of which were repaired to a very high standard at very short notice. If you need alterations
done professionally by nice people at a reasonable price go here. They do dry cleaning as well.

I am so shocked by the review below! My experience could not have been more different. I phoned Image last Monday night (found them luckily through google) after a disaster with my wedding dress. I'd had the top of the dress supposedly altered to fit by another dressmaker and it was a total and utter botch job. My wedding is on Saturday so I was distressed and desperate. I phoned at 6.20pm, was there at 6.30pm and by 7pm knew I was in totally safe hands. Munever unpicked and repinned the whole top of the dress and said she'd have it done in time for the wedding. By this Monday it was virtually finished and I picked it up today TOTALLY transformed. It is honestly like wearing a made to measure dress and I can't remember a time I encountered such skill and professionalism. What she charged me was incredibly reasonable given the lifesaving job she did at the very last minute. I'll be recommending her to everyone and popping in with a photo from the big day!

All tacky ‘style’ and no substance. I received very poor service and was charged for work that they had not done. I felt too intimidated to argue. They seem to make wedding outfits so perhaps this was why I got such poor service, as mine was a tiny job. I felt sick and very angry. I could not honestly recommend them to anyone.

Was really impressed with the attention to detail. I had a dress which my mother passed on to me, and it needed re designing for my shape. The out come of this was that the dress was finished with the same features as before, and fit me perfectly. Very impressed.
