I’ve been using Hudsons for over 5 yrs and have found it’s a great service, very friendly, have never dropped the ball and everything comes back immaculately clean!

Took a black shirt to be dry cleaned here as my regular cleaners were closed. I collected my cleaned shirt and noticed the black buttons colour had faded to white around the edges of 3-4 buttons and signs of hard ironing on the seams and collar of the shirt. It was obvious that the shirt had been washed and ironed hard rather than dry cleaned. I returned it to Hudsons to see what they thought - and the issue was dimissed as wear and tear. The shirt has been dry cleaned only and never displayed ANY wear until taking it to Hudsons this one time. They should have admitted fault - not professional

This is a false statement by someone who doesn’t understand about the garment industry nor the nature of buttons or how they are dyed or when and why they lose colour or not. Buttons are dyed and the colour should set for any cleaning process no matter what, these buttons were not dyed to the appropriate standards.

Just picked up my dress after a specialist dry clean and they totally ruined the dress, it was returned with damage to the dress and water marks.
On returning to complain I was told it was my problem, we didn't cause it and basically was told tough luck these things happen.
I will never return, avoid this shop at all costs!!!

The service can be very quick but needs to be much more professional and customer focused. Most of my clothes have been cleaned pretty well and to perfection while there have been a couple of occassions where the items had clearly not been dry cleaned at all or badly damaged by detergents.
