Really handy for Bengali food shopping (especially Bengali freshwater fish) and Indian food ingredients generally (eg: spices, vegetables like parval, Indian fruit, green chillies etc.). Also do a good selection of everyday household products, off licence goods etc. Also close to a bus stop with buses which go all over the Isle of Dogs and further beyond. Not too keen on their butchers but still good to have the option. The shop changes its shape quite a lot - at one time they had a little cafe corner where you could get tea and Indian sweets but it looks closed on recent visitd

Find all products I requires, staffs are good and very helpful, find free cash machine there and they do not charge me any extra money for card payment but I saw other off licence shop do charge for card payment. I also found 5 star same day dry-cleaning service on Clifton express.

Overall it was a good experience of wonderful shopping.

This has to be one of the worst shopping experiences on offer in London. Firstly the cash machine (which surprisingly is free) never actually works, when it does work it deducts money from you without giving you cash. The staff are rude, are extremely slow and have the sense of urgency/proactiveness of a pig in wet mud. The shop is a mess, flooring is a hazard and chippped, it has a random selection of products, which are over priced, close to their sell by date or just fake e.g. razor blades. The shop itself is dirty and smells, when it rains water leaks into the building, the ceiling looks like at any moment it will collapse.

A mainstore convenience chain would be a huge success at this location.

Avoid like the plague.

I agree with the comment above, this "convenience" store is absolute rubbish!

They have about 10 staff but cannot cope with more than two people queueing without it to be a 15mn wait...

Very poor stock management, from one day to another you cannot find the brands you usually buy, especially for cigarettes and beer/cider.

Food is very VERY dodgy and I believe i've been sick more than once thanks to them...

That's right, their debit/credit card payment system works once in a while and it is very annoying: the gear they use seems to be a second-hand system bought from France in the eighties...

Plus they sell fake Gillette blades that are totally useless after one day of use! How dare they?

And finally, don't ever buy so-called "safety matches", Ash or whatever other Indian brand, unless you want to burn yourself or put your home on fire!!!

Not only they are incompetent crooks, but they are dangerous!

These guys should be closed down urgently, how ridiculous! Give us a Tesco instead!!!

I can't believe I have to right a bad review about a convenience shop. On a number of occasions I bought items that have been priced as two for one then got home and have been charged twice. Bought groceries they said my card was declined so need to try again, sure enough my statement came through and I was charged twice. On a number of occassions either my family or I have bought items that have a price label on the shelves and when you get to the till the price is different, I twice complained and they ripped the label up from the shelves, no apology just flippant rudeness. Wouldnt shop here if they gave the stuff away.
