I went in for a wash and press. I regularly visit another salon but visited AT as my usual salon was fully booked and was due to start a new job the day after. I was initially impressed with the seemingly thorough assessment of my hair by The Director however this quickly went down hill. I was told I required a treatment on the day and monthly (although i already do so), sold a cut and advised to take out a monthly loyalty card which i refused. I left paying £105 for the worst cut and press I have ever had. No more knowledgeable on natural hair then any other Salon, money grabbers! Stay clear

The team at AT were lovely. I had my hair braided yesterday so was there for 10 hours... They were kind, caring and worked efficiently. The hair has come out great and I'm very happy with it. They really care about the condition of your natural hair and gave me realistic tips and advice on how to take care of my hair after the braids are out.

The only negative thing I have to say is they under estimated how long it would take which messed up my plans a bit, but other than that, fab!

they were rough with my hair and used too much heat which left me with lots split ends. the cheap blow dryer was too hot and burnt my scalp and i want to look into legal action against them, the owner didn't care and showed no sympathy just wanted my payment no offer of refund or apology
