I had a TERRIBLE experience at this hair salon.
I wanted a BALAYAGE to allow my natural hair to grow naturally without any lines in my platinum bob hair. The lady didn't know what to do or how to do it in the first place. She asked her colleague, but she wasn't sure either. I was afraid that she was completely lost, so I asked [man] to tell her what to do. Though I should have left as soon as I saw she was clueless, I guess I learned my lesson.
Then, despite my warnings she was not at all gentle and would brush my hair so strongly after each wash that my already delicate hair BROKE in lots of parts. She simply dyed in some areas with dark color, leaving patches and a straight line.
It was so messy that [man] had to repeat the process. My hair had to undergo yet another round of dying, and the lady's forceful brushing broke my hair even more.
They stayed longer after the shop closed, but even so, I had severely broken hair, no balayage, and THEY CHARGED ME MORE (£120) even though the website states it should have cost £70.
The end result was significantly different from any balayage picture; while some areas had some highlights left in place, others had none at all, which gave an odd appearance.
After having to fix it myself at home two days later, the color looks better, but the hair is completely broken and damaged.
Despite their guarantees that he would call, [man] was never there the four times I went to talk to him about getting a refund. I feel SCAMMED.
