"Engineer" turned up, looked at the fridge and told me it wasn't working... He was unable to to diagnose the problem since his certificate for the job had expired, but he had a guess as to what it could be nevertheless. From a look.
Was prepared to arrange for a "proper" service engineer to come at a later date to replace the gas of the fridge for the cost of £144, all this from a look. He also tried to sell me a new fridge.
Biggest waste of £80.
In hindsight, I should have just bought a new fridge freezer.
