Thatched House Mini Cabs

This used to be one of the best cab firms around but sadly standards have slipped. The cab office staff are still friendly and knowledgeable about the area but some of the drivers are rude and unhelpful.

I say some because I am sure the majority of drivers are good and maybe I have been unlucky.

I hope this is only a temporary dip in standards and the firm reminds drivers that being abusive to customers is not the way to grow a business

I booked trip to Luton airport and back home. Price confirmed was £70 + parking cost. I agreed and cab came on time. Cab was very filty, looks like it hasn't been cleaned for several weeks. When I asked why it is so dirty the driver said he woke up very early and already had a few trips...At the airport, I have paid for the parking ticket and when we have returned driver informed me that there was a mistake done by the office and there will be an extra £35 for a trip back. I was shocked to hear that since nothing has been mentioned at the begining or at the airport when he was waiting for me.

Called them after a wedding and they got there in less than 5 mins (fair enough the hall was on te same street) got home faster than normal. Price was appropriate too
