This post office sure does seem to be run in a casual way by family and friends. It's not the sort of efficient, helpful post office I remember growing up but *sigh* times change I guess.

V Tang, you're brave putting your name. . . . I'd imagine they'll be keeping their beady eyes out for your name and post code in future. Don't be surprised to have more 'missing' items in future

Out of all the times I've been, mostly for retrieving missed post, I have had ONE smooth transaction. One time I went they were having a "management handover" and told me they were opening a "few hours later, maybe around noon". They obviously did not care that it was during opening hours and they were taking all their time in the world. I had a few parcels forwarded to them from Parcel Force since I wasn't home to receive it. Once they told me they didn't have my parcel, but once I spoke to someone from Parcel Force who gave me the name of the person who signed for it, they did eventually "find" it. They have also refused my parcel for not having enough storage space but not having kept a record they just told me the "guy usually comes at 4pm so I will have to come back tomorrow". This was 3 days after they refused my parcel. They are very slow, have no consideration for customers, it seems like a friend & family run "business". I wish I can have my post sent elsewhere when I miss it, sadly I don't seem to have a choice.
