I would not recommend this restaurant.

Poor hygiene and the food is not properly cooked.

Last time I went there, I saw mice on the shop floor.

Ordered a takeaway for what i thought would be a very simple meal for impromptu overseas visitors who might enjoy typical Indian/Pakistani food.

To begin with the ordering of the food was a nightmare i was passed on to three different people until somebody was prepared to take my order. The food arrived on time, the receipt amount was a different amount (higher) to what i had been informed and as they used a local cab company to deliver i could not verify what had happened as my guests had already arrived and as i was in a hurry to feed them i reluctantly paid the higher amount. Anyway, as the food was being served i noticed the bags were drenched in oil before i could even get the containers out and once open noticed that there was more oil then food! (no joking!). The somasas were at least one day old and tasted rank, after one bite we had to leave them; the mixed grillmeat was hard, the lamb was more like mutton with lots of gristle and the chicken was dry. The only good thing was that the naans tasted fresh and were soft but we didn't really have anything to eat them with as the main dishes were unpalatable.

Very upsetting as my friends who had never eaten this kind of food before will not be to keen to try it in the future.

I have bought food in the past at this restaurant and not had any real problems - let's hope this was a blip but at least having read this you can make sure that there is not be tooooo much oil and also check that the food is fresh - i didn't think i had to and in my case it was £30 -40 down the drain (literally).
