I had been going for blow dries, until I decided to try Equipe for highlights.
What a big mistake. I explained that I’m having hair loss and that I would like golden blond highlights to avoid regrowth. In the end I got white ash highlights and no matter how much i said I should not be paying for this - they just ignore and apologise.
They added a semi perm colour very much in a favour.
After 10 days I have 3 cm regrowth from roots. I am horrified At their poor service and poor colour skills.

I’ve been going to this salon for at least seven years and if you go on one of the less busy days you have a much more pleasant, unrushed experience. It can get really busy on certain days of the week. My haircut is nothing unusual or difficult but my highlights are done by Jaffa and he does a fantastic job. Olympia at the desk is also very friendly and helpful and so are most of the staff really !

Despite the fact that my hair went horrifically (think cross between Ed Sheeran and Donald Trump) wrong, I'm giving 2/10 as the stylist and receptionist were clearly apologetic and decent people (we all have off days and it's only hair, not life or death!). The manager however, was a different story. He refused a refund, offering only a paltry percentage of the (huge) amount I paid and when I challenged him became aggressive, rude and thoroughly unprofessional. When I finally agreed (I didn't want to waste any more time arguing), he childishly took a further chunk off saying I should have accepted the first offer when I had the chance. Improvement could be made, perhaps, by some training in customer service.
