Rush London

Have visited Rush in Richmond a number of times and always had a good experience. Attentive receptionists, experienced and creative stylists and just general good feel to the salon.

I booked an appointment here as it was recommended to me by a few different friends as well as the 50% advertised offer for new customers.

Unfortunately, the stylist really did not listen. I specifically told him not to cut layers into the back of my hair because I have tried them before and they don't work, but obviously he thought he knew best and went right ahead anyway. I'm not saying it was a bad haircut but it was not what I wanted. the layers are extremely short in places and will take a long time to grow out.

Then he made my hair go several shades lighter than usual so it was a really brassy blonde (no other new hairdresser has even messed up the colour quite so much before) and I was charged for two lots of toner to correct it.

All in all, not a positive experience and I won't be going back.

Felt like the senior creative artist (I think thats what they said) didn't listen to what I wanted. I explained why I left my previous hairdresser, yet they did exactly the same-the inability to do a 'trim'! Good hair cut, but not what I wanted. The amount of time spent on cutting/washing was really impressive and didn't feel rushed.

Not the most attractive shop but the staff made it! Tony cut my hair and he was fantastic! Definitely go nback.

Salon always busy which is a good sign as the staff are on there toes. Receptionist very friendly. The stylist sat with me whilst we both looked thru mags trying to find the style I wanted, she was patient and listened. And I feel that for once I left a salon with a style that I was happy with.
