Hey guys!

This is what I put. Baring in mind I sent this before the Lavender auditions...

Dear whomever this may concern,

I am sending four pictures of myself in the hope that you will consider me for the character, Lavender Brown, or any other character in the film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince or in the following and final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I understand, however, that I am slightly too old for the part of Lavender Brown, as I am 21 years old. But I have a playing age of 16 – 22 and have been told I look as young as 16. I would like to know if it is possible for me to come to the open audition on Sunday 1st July, although I am overage. Would I face being turned away?
I would appreciate any role that you would think appropriate for me. If there is not a role suitable for me, I would very much like to be an extra. My ambition is, and always has been, to act, and the Harry Potter films are such a phenomenon of which I am a great fan of and to be given the opportunity to be in one of the films would be highly appreciated and an ultimate dream come true!

I live in Staffordshire and I go to Bath Spa University. Maybe you should try audtioning for Uni's too, as it's quite difficult to get in to drama schools. I took a gap year. Didn't do much to further my acting career however, but earned some money (whcih I soon spent...!) and went to gigs!

Aly,

Are they still running Frisky Fridays at the SU bar? And is toothy Ruth still running the sweet shop ;)

Ahh the good old days living on Temple wing :smug:

I thought you were gonna tell me off and slap me wrist for writing where abouts I live... :emb: *wipes off beads of sweat* lol :p

I actually haven't started there yet. I took a 2 year foundation degree course in Weston-super-Mare that was combined with Bath Spa Uni and providing you get the right grades etc, you go on to the final year in Bath. But my boyfriend, who was on the same course as me, has not long finished his final year at Bath, so I could ask him for you... I've heard they do... Flunk and Flirt or summit... :confused2: When did you graduate? What course did you study?

I graduated ages ago, class of 2000. I was on the combined awards BSc course thingy (Business Studies & Geography) - can't remember much of it, only really went to about 40% of the course, still passed it all though :smug:

Spent most of the time in the pig playing table football ;)

I really enjoyed it in Bath though, go back to visit quite a bit, lots of mates still living there, lovely place.
