i do too, i always have done, but coming from a family who can not afford to send me to acting classes as a way to get into acting, it is hard to find a way into the business.

Hey Laura

You can get a loan though from the LEA (can't remember what it stands for), which gives you a couple of grand or so, so you are able to pay for living arrangments. And the less your family get paid, the more loan you will be given. I'm in my final year at Uni at the mo, studying a fantastic course based around the Stanislavski method. Where do you live?

I'm 21.

i live in the west midlands, i've just finished my 1st year of college. i have been thinking about taking a gap year after next year to persue my acting further, but i dunno yet. have been looking for schollerships at acting schools but no one seem to do em anymore :(

I live in Staffordshire and I go to Bath Spa University. Maybe you should try audtioning for Uni's too, as it's quite difficult to get in to drama schools. I took a gap year. Didn't do much to further my acting career however, but earned some money (whcih I soon spent...!) and went to gigs!
