I think its so sad to see the end of Woolies. I went in one at the weekend as my son had a voucher to use. The shelves were empty, it was like people rifling through the pockets of a corpse

I agree.
Although i think they needed to get up to date a bit more.
Shame they couldn't have been saved.

Yes it's very sad, I think everyone's got really fond memories of Woolies from when they were a kid - it was so exciting going in to mooch at all the toys.

Woolies core business was always CDs and music. Sales of CDs have plummeted since downloads and online sites undercutting stores. They simply didnt adjust to the market. You can only sell so many JML toasters...

You will. I promise! It's really a numbers game. Learn some tiebreakers too, they are about the only comps that actually require any skill these days!
