hey

I'm a Londoner who's just come back after spending the last 4 years in China. Everyone seems to be interested in China these days and it's good to see; great people, great language, great food.

Ah yes food. My question is this: does anyone know of a North Eastern Chinese restaurant in London? I found a couple of Beijing style places but it just ain't the same....

so if there's anyone out there who can recommend a good place (maybe even some 'guo bao rou'...?) i'd much appreciate it.

thanks

Hi laoluo,

Yes there are lots of ties to China in London at the moment - like the great China London Festival that's been taking place for the last month or so.

Take a look through All In London's Restaurant section to find Northern Chinese food:

Chinese Restaurants
(although these aren't specifically Northern Chinese cuisine)

We've done a quick search to find Northern Chinese food in London and returned these two results:

- North China - in Acton
- The Well - Elephant and Castle

... we've not reviewed these restaurants personally and so cannot vouch for quality, but they do come up on "Northern Chinese Food" phrases.

I hope your search goes well, and you may wantto post back with any recommendations that you find on your search. :)

All the best,

AIL Staff
