so hopefully the weather will be getting warmer so time to ditch the winter coats in the next few months (hope im not being to optimistic)dont know about you but i dont like being pale skinned (not to say that its not lovely)
my favourite product at the moment for tanning is still the dove summer glow, i wish they didnt smell so bad though!

Im sure there will be more new products coing out soon that dont smell so bad!

What does everyone think about sun-beds?

I must be honest I prefer an actual tan to self tans - just too paranoid about going streaky! But are sun-beds a no-no, health-wise?

basically yes keep away, but i must admit i have used them on a number of occasions theres nothing like a real tan if you must try to go once or twice a month only!!

The tan mosturisers like dove and johnsons do not streak whatsoever but you have to use sparingly on knuckles and knees!

I think I'd look odd with a tan. I'm very very pale. I can burn in about 15 minutes :( so sunbeds are a definite no for me. I think the paler you are, and 'suceptable' (I'm sure I want a different word) to the sun, the higher the rick of skin cancer.

Anyways, I'm happy being pale :D Though it does bug me when people say 'Oh I'll stand next to Emily, because she makes me look more tanned'. Cause it's kind of inadvertedly suggesting there's something wrong with being pale :(

I think a natural pale skin is super, lucky you. I have skin that tans if I just look at the sun through the window and very rosy cheeks. Most of the time the tan dulls the rosy cheeks and I feel better that I dont look like I am blushing all day.

I do love a real tan but not to deep, but a little lift of fake tan is good if you need a lift... :emb:

With those things, do you have to bea careful that it doesnt rub off on your clothes or streak in teh rain? (I havent ever used tanning things before, I know little about them)

oh no hey dont streak at all or wash of in the rain once its on its on till it fades off! good thing about them is that they dont go blotchy either!

It wont stain your clothes either but if you put clothes on they will smell of the tan after so its advisables to do it before bed or before gym which i do.

i really reccomend the dove self tan moisturiser it comes in 2 shades dark and light!

:)
