The thrilling London Dungeon Late evenings return this year, full of intrepid encounters with dastardly characters, vintage cocktails and plenty of surprises. #LDLates mash up theatre, special effects and intriguing storytelling with wit, humour, and plenty of edge-of-the-seat action for an after-hours experience like no other.
The tour begins in a Victorian Gin Palace where a complimentary Gin fizz is offered to lubricate the nerves prior to heading off into the dark London streets to discover Jack the Ripper. Guests are encouraged to participate and can delve into a dressing up box to get into a bygone character as they pass from one show to the next. Plenty of other infamous characters abound including the demon barber of Fleet Street Mr Sweeney Todd and his paramour Mrs Lovett. Arriving at the Ripper’s favourite haunt The Ten Bells in Whitechapel, another shot of Dutch courage is duly served up to further bolster the nerves. At the end of the tour, The Tavern awaits and guests can purchase further cockney cocktails before heading off into the night.
The first London Dungeon Late events of the year kick off on Wednesday 29th and Friday 31st March. Early bird tickets for the 6.30pm session are priced at £25 and rise to £29 for later sessions booked at half hourly intervals until 9pm. Tickets can be purchased from See Tickets or directly from the Merlin Events website. All tickets include an exclusive walk through experience (no queues and no kids), gin cocktails (or a non-alcoholic option) on arrival and the option to purchase additional drinks at The Tavern.
Dates for forthcoming London Dungeon Late events are: 21 April, 25+26 May, 9 June, 29 September, 29 October, 20-22 December. Groups of 40 are admitted at one time.
