Having spent lots of time living in both Madrid and Ibiza, rising British singer & songwriter Georgia Scott combines classic UK music such as Rn’B, garage and grime with her Hispanic influences. Her “Pesao” song was a dance floor hit  and followed up with new single ‘TBT’ produced by long-time collaborator Amex. A fusion of different styles and cultures, you can catch Georgia Live at Candela Sound System at Ministry of Sound on Bank Holiday Sunday May 28th.

Here we catch up with the 23-year-old who gives us the lowdown on her London faves.

What’s the best thing about London?

The best thing about London is the fact that no matter what time of day or day of the week it is, there is always something fun to do.

What’s the worst thing about London?

The worst thing about London, and arguably the whole country, has to be the weather.

Where do you go to have fun?

Any bar with live music.

Where is the most relaxing place in town?

My favourite place in London to relax and take a breather would have to be Primrose Hill. It is somewhere I take all my friends who visit; the view of the skyline, especially as the sun sets, is incredible.

Where is your favourite place for eats and drinks in London?

I have so many favourite spots to eat in the city but my Top 3 would have to be BarraFina in Covent Garden, Temper in Soho and Cecconi’s at The Ned.

If I could change one thing about London...

Installing AC on the tubes.

What’s your favourite club venue to play at and what makes it so special?

I  haven’t played many shows in London so far but my favourite is VIVA Reggaeton at The Lightbox, as it was my first appearance. The crowd were so welcoming and appreciative - they made me feel great. I’m really looking forward to my show on Bank Holliday Sunday May 28th at the iconic Ministry of Sound for Candela Sound System too.

The song that reminds me most of London is...

The song that reminds me most of London would have to be “Hometown Glory” by Adele. It captures my relationship and experiences with the city perfectly and naturally. Adele’s voice is one I find hugely comforting and I have promised myself that one day I will learn to play it on the piano.

Tell us a London gem that everyone should know about

The Kyoto Garden in Holland Park. It’s so relaxing and beautifully laid out.

One thing everyone should do in London is...

Go for a drink at the top of The Shard where you can see the whole of London whilst enjoying great cocktails.
