I've had A LOT of Chinese takeaways in London. This has seriously got to be the worst. The sweet and sour chicken should be DNA tested to ensure it actually IS chicken and not some gelatinous goop. The curry sauce is so watered down they should market it as soup. The crispy duck, well lets just say it should be called crispy baby humming bird, the portions are so small. The beef fried rice was a little better, it only tasted awful and not disgusting. The beef was like Playdoh but didn't taste as good. I have to say the rice was ok though. On top of all of this, it's not cheap either. AWFUL!

This is the worst chinese restaurant i have ever visited. I ordered take away on a fri night and took a long time thinking about what to order (45 mins) because i am unaware of chinese food but the woman behind the counter was rude by telling me to order now and get on with it rather than taking a long time to order and ask her so many questions.

i thought the customer service was appaualing and i understand the restaurant was busy but no one seemed to want to help as they were too busy. Perhaps they need to have more staff or have staff dedicated for take away ordes

Also, the same woman behind the counter whose english was quite good was talking in chinese to her colleage about me. The woman didnt even have the decency to apologise to me but just justified her actions, and the manager stood there listening like a lemon not showing any interest in my problem and by his non reaction seemed to have easily accepted the womans actions towards me.

i recommend if any one is going to order take away from there and you are a novice in chinese food, i strongly recommend you never to visit there.

On 25/5/09 SM wrote 'A place my wife and I visit for a drop-in meal. A busy place but big enough to be able to normally seat you without delay. Good food, pleasant staff and traditional surroundings. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of choice on the extensive menus. House wines are extremely reasonable at £9.95. At this price you can have a Grand Vin du Bordeaux which could easily cost more in a supermarket! Maybe not entirely suitable for A Grand Occasion but for a regular night out you won't be disappointed.'
