The restaurant at Bluebird offers a haven of great food, great style and a place where great times can be had. A mouth-watering modern British menu is complemented by an extensive cocktail and wine list.
Bluebird Chelsea makes a great place to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions, or just to get together with a large group of friends. You can book online for tables of up to eight people – for groups of nine or more, please call the restaurant on 020 7559 1000.
Depending on the size of the group and the timing of your reservations, we may ask you to choose from one of our special group menus – or we can create a menu especially for you.

It's nice to eat out... when it's not piddling down
Bluebird may have recently appeared on Made In Chelsea, but it’s been delighting the neighbourhood for quite some time, particularly when it comes to breakfast. The courtyard has a barbecue and screens for showing sporting events.
London's best winter terraces
Warm your cockles when it's cold out there...
Chelsea’s heated courtyard faces the King’s Road, so there are people-watching opportunities aplenty (albeit through a hedge). There’s a separate menu to the main restaurant, offering hearty dishes like veal schnitzel, croque monsieur and steak.

Whilst the setting remains one to admire I regret to report that the quality of food is at best average and the service appallingly amateur. This would not ne what Mr Conran had in mind for any of his establishments!
The monkfish curry was a pitiful attempt at at stylish Indian meets SW3 and for the sake of good taste should be taken off the menu as soon as possible. Avoid!
Whilst there were a good many staff on duty on a Wednesday evening and all had the appearance of being busy it was a challenge to see exactly what is was that gave them this appearance.
If you are a full paid up member of that shallow breed who so admire style over substance then you will no doubt find this venue acceptable. If this were in NYC the place would be closed down in a matter of weeks at most.
I hope that someone responsible reads this and responds in a positive manner to the criticism. I would be very happy if the dining experience at The Bluebird could be restored to the standard of days gone by.
