Uno Restaurant

We had a our work Christmas celebration at UNo Restaurant in Pimlico.

We had two-course dinner: for main course I had turkey breast stuffed with chestnuts served with vegetables and cranberry sauce and for dessert a very tasty bread and butter pudding with ice cream. The restaurant looked beautiful and the atmosphere was just right for our Christmas party. The wine that was served with our food was excellent and the service was friendly, professional and helpful throughout the dinner.

I work nearby but haven't visited this restaurant before. I heard they do lunch as well so definitely will check that out in the new year. Uno is great value for money and if you are craving for a good Italian food and/or a brilliant dinner out, I'd definitely try this place.

I had an absolutely amazing dinner last night. Had a white truffle risotto hmmmm delicious, you don't find this dish in many restaurants. So tasty, it was perfect for the occasion. My friend ordered foie gras for starter and gorgeous wild boar ravioli as a main course. We couldn’t resist not tasting from each other dishes. The food at UNo restaurant is the best I had in a long time. Bottle of Cabernet was a perfect companion to our meal. I enjoyed myself so much. The staff was very friendly yet professional, not pushy but always there when needed.

Waited 20 minutes to order. First course took 30 minutes. Bruschetta was on dry bread. Bolognese sauce was average. 20 minutes to clear first course. Been sprayed in glass cleaner. Main course has taken 40 minutes and counting. Yes the service is so slow i have time to write this.

Ate there last Saturday night. Had three course meal and enjoyed every single mouthful. My companion was also very impressed with her meal. Definitely be going back there soon.
