Mythopolis

This is the worst place I've eaten at in London (and I've eaten in a few Wetherspoon pubs so that's saying something!). We also had the Groupon voucher, which is lucky for them because otherwise I would've refused to pay.
The presentation of the food was poor, the service was poor and the quality of the food was even worse.
There was a long black hair in my Greek salad, which I'd already been turned off of as everything was swimming in the grated feta juices and olive oil which made it look just vile.
The meat was very dry - I took two bites of a pork shish kebab and didn't bother eating the rest. Other dishes were not quite right and had very strange flavours - especially the mushrooms which were drenched in a cold, unthickened "cream sauce".
We were not asked once throughout the meal how it was, or if we would like anything else. I'd been waiting for their attention so I could ask for some water (no, they never offered us any throughout the entire meal) and so I could order another glass of wine (lost profit for them).
Even after we finished eating I had to ask them to take our plates away, after a long period of us sitting there with dirty plates covering our table.
It is interesting to hear that someone else with a Groupon voucher received dessert, because we did not get any. And it was also interesting that the "12 meze" count included the three dips that came with the pita breads. That can really only be classified as one dish, and definitely not four.
I couldn't figure out who worked there and who was a customer, as they were all dressed in slippers and hoodies, were changing their clothes behind the back counter, were sitting at the tables eating food and rolling cigarettes, and walking out to the front of the restaurant to sit outside and smoke and talk.
We couldn't have got of there quicker and I will definitely never go back. If you're considering going there, please reconsider. It's £12 and a miserable 2 hours of my time that I wi

I went here last night after getting an amazing deal on Groupon. But even if I didn't have the deal, it would be well worth it. Stephanos, the owner is a genuinly lovely friendly guy, as were his staff. It was a great atmosphere, the furniture/decor was very greek... and the food was amazing!

We had the mixed Meze, which was a neverending amount of food! We literally couldn't fit another thing in by the time it came to baklava and coffee. The house wine was nice and well priced. Every time the waiter brought something over, he explained what it was and which was his favourite (haha!)

Really warm welcoming place, with amazing tasting meats, aswell as many other side dishes.

Couldn't reccomend this place more, a real treat :)

Mythopolis is a splendid example of really delicious Greek and Cypriot cuisine, very reasonable prices and very friendly atmosphere. The staff is attentive and there is also a music scene on Fridays and Saturdays to practice some Greek dancing, and have a great time!
