The ground floor boasts the informal bar and dining room - think exposed brick walls, mirrors, block wood and tables with candelabra -while downstairs you can take refuge from the hustle and bustle in the cocktail bar. Surround yourself with deep colours, wood floors, a fireplace, armchairs and floral wall patterns - it’s your granny’s living room with attitude.

I was very impressed with this venue. My partner and i went on a friday night, unfortunately did not book but the staff were very accomodating and after a quick drink in the bar there kindly moved some things around a found us a table. We opted for Chicken and foie gras pate and boiled eggs and soilders for starters, the latter of which obviously sounds slightly odd but was very good. The Pate was to die for. Followed with a cooked to perfection duck breast and rack of welsh lamb, washed down with a very tasty semillion chard it was all in all a fantastic meal. Lovely waitress, who although a little rushed off her feet, was attentive yet not overbearing. Definately be re-visiting.

I've been to The Club several times now and have found it to be an excellent place either for a light lunch, or in the evening for drinking, eating or a party. The ground floor tends to have a good buzz to it, and the booth seating is fantastic if there’s a few of you there. Downstairs has been good for parties, as it’s lively and has great cocktails and champagnes. The food menu on the ground floor is interesting and varied, with some good seafood and excellent specials. The wine list is fantastic too, well priced and we really enjoy the NZ Sauvignon and the SA Pinotage. We’ve also found the service to be friendly and efficient. Worthy winner of London's Best New Bar Award!
