La Sera

This is the best retaurant in Stoke Newington,my family and friends use La Sera quite often for celebrations of birthdays etc,the staff are very friendly and helpful also very child friendly,food is brilliant ,tasty and worth the money,even the childrens menu is good nd plentful.Nothing is too much trouble for the staff,we take birthday cakes in and they put on candles for you and even play Happy Birthday on the music system which everyone in the restaurant ends up singing to.Great place.

Oh dear. This place was a real disappointment. The shared seafood platter for starters included fairly good sardines, scallops and squid - all of which were fresh but overcooked and underseasoned. The rest of the seafood platter was an absolute disaster. The frozen mussels and the two paltry prawns were bad enough, but the deep fried breaded whitebait and 'crab claw' was deeply offensive. Both were of the frozen type, enclosed in a crispy breadcrumb reminiscent of findus crispy pancakes. The 'crab claw' was reconstituted mush...no crab taste whatsoever so who knows what it was made of. Ive never eaten anything like it before. The dipping sauces were frankly inedible. And all at over £15 a platter! To the chef/ owners, please just cook fresh seafood. Frozen, processed, packaged seafood is just not acceptable!

La Sera is a hidden gem!!! The food is excellent, great atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable. We were treated very well, nothing was too much trouble. The free drinks at the end was the icing on the cake. My family will definately be dining there again.

We have always had a warm family welcome at La Sera and last year we celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary there. The cuisine is good and nothing is too much trouble.

I went to this restaurant last friday for the first time and was incredibly impressed with the attentive service and most of all the great food. All types of fish available and incredibly reasonably priced for the quality and quantity that was was served up. I totally recommend the fish kebabs as i expected to receive only one but 2 were on my plate.

Meal for 2 with a bottle of wine and a dessert each, not forgetting the bread basket, only came to approx £45. What more could you ask for in London. I am eagar to return!

One of the top three restuarants in this area, definately. Stunning seafood at really reasonable prices. Not had anything disappointing there. The staff are great, the venue is clean and spacious but gets unbearable when its busy. Sometimes it gets a little rowdy in there. Recommend the mussels and the swordfish. Gorgeous!

First time I dined at La Sera I knew I had to go back again and again and again. I am "seriously" working my way through the delicoious menu!!! The food is superb, its fresh, cooked to each individuals satisfaction and it is sublimey delicious. I can honestly say it is one of the best restaurants where the food is to die for and I have eaten at the OXO Tower, Ivory, The Ritz etc.

The atmosphere at La Sera is warm and friendly among fellow diners and the staff plus the service is good. This restuarant just needs to keep on doing what it does best "BE THEMSELVES" it work!!!

went to the restaurant for my anniversary ,lovely ,the food was gorgeous I had the salmon mmmm , execellant service , good service didnt have to wait too long .Hghly recommend it . Have told frinds and family about it and will be booking our table for valentines day .

Excellent restaurant, try the most delicious scallops. Really friendly service. Enjoy a lunch for two or a birthday dinner for 12. I go back there again and again.

I tried La Sera new launch menu and it is really impressed me.I recommended to everyone who wants to taste delicious seafood.

Went there for the first time today for work lunch. Had a very impressive list of dishes and fresh fish available. Ordered three dishes and everything was just brilliant. Already planning my next trip and taking some friends along to show off this gem. And service was friendly...and everything arrived in time (meaning: didnt have to wait long wondering if they have gone to catch the fish...)..and no long wait eventhough there was a big group of 20 or so people who seemed to have arrived just before we did. Loved it altogether! Perfect!
