Ex-Locanda Locatelli Marco Torri and Giovanni Baldino are behind Ristorante Semplice. It’s also in Mayfair, but is far less starry than the restaurant they previously worked at (“semplice” translates as “simple”), although the dining room is as lavish as any restaurant from this neck of the woods.
Many of the ingredients used are sourced from small Italian producers from different regions of the country, such as the salami, cheeses, olive oil, coffee and wine.
