Enjoy Soho alfresco

Make way for the Soho Summer Festival!

Where: Soho

Throughout the lockdown one of the most distinctive changes in London was in Soho - the once bustling thoroughfares usually filled with tourists and revellers was completely barren as shops and venues stayed shuttered. To make up for lost time and business, and to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy Soho within the parameters of social distancing, local landlords and Westminster council have agreed to pedestrianise 17 streets every evening from 5pm, allowing venues to put tables outside.

Calling it the Soho Summer Street Festival, those taking part include Linnea Stores, Barrafina, Bar Termini and Dean Street Townhouse, and many will be offering generous discounts for NHS staff and key workers as well as the general public. Let's hope the weather holds up...
