Borough Kitchen, the shop that sells kitchen accessories for cooking enthusiasts, now does cooking classes too, and they've got all the basics covered - the principles of bread making, cooking pasta from scratch and classes dedicated to preparing steak, fish and seafood. But we're particularly interested in their kimchi-making masterclasses, where they teach you how to make the Korean fermented favourite, as well as the super versatile rice dish bibimbap (a dish to wow dinner guests with as once you know the essentials, you can make it a million different ways).
As well as learning about ingredients and preparation methods, the class includes a bit about knife techniques. You can choose a location between their Hampstead, Islington and Chiswick cookery schools.
