The capital's love affair with craft beer continues, evident by the number of neighbourhood microbreweries and taprooms still operating throughout the city. Brixton Brewery has a classic story - four friends who love beer decided to open the brewery in 2013, and set about concocting beers with Brixton-inspired names like Coldharbour Lager and Electric IPA. They did all the bottling and labelling themselves until Heineken came knocking, which allowed them to expand and work from a larger brewery.
At the taproom, which is under the arches on Station Road, you'll also find wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and the brewery's own merch.
