Stoke Newington’s biggest green space attracts crowds on sunny days, thanks to its vast, landscaped lawns, the Grade II-listed Clissold House which contains a cafe and venue for private hire, and a paddling pool, although the latter has not been in use since the pandemic. Most excitingly for nature lovers are the fallow deer, which are far easier to spot here than at Kew Gardens for instance, as they are contained within a large pen.
These beautiful creatures actually have a long history with this area as they have lived in this park since 1890.
