Try curling without fear of slipping on ice

Do you have a yearning for curling?

Where: The Curling Club

Curling, the sport where you must push a stone towards a target while gliding on ice, is becoming so popular that venues dedicated to the activity have appeared in popular locations like the Southbank. It is an Olympic sport, afterall.

We're referring to The Curling Club, which eschews ice in favour of a less accident-prone and more drink-appropriate environment, where you throw the 'stone' across a smooth surface similar to that of a bowling lane. You can play as part of a team of up to four people, and order food (think ski resort-themed hotdogs and grilled cheese) to your table after the game. During the day children up to 18 are welcome to play too.
