Jimmy Garcia has a long CV of successful restaurant pop-ups, including a stint by the Olympic site during the 2012 games. His latest venture is an alpine-inspired restaurant in nowhere other than Clapham, south London.
Naturally the venue features plenty of antlers and animal skins on the walls, with furniture made from wooden planks. In-keeping with the ski resort theme the menu has winter-warming dishes like fondue made with Comte cheese and a game board with venison Chateaubriand, stuffed pigeon, a game burger, and a wild boar Scotch egg. Drinks include beers that have been brewed in the Swiss Alps. The pop-up is open till March 2016.
