Try the next huge trend to arrive from Asia: shave ice

De-lish!

Where: various locations

Shave ice is set to become the next big trend to hit London. Popular in the Far East and South East Asia, it's made by shaving ice off a big block and then pouring syrups, juices and all manner of other toppings on it. The result is a brightly coloured concoction that can be either sweet or savoury. Currently available at cafes and restaurants in Chinatown and at Soho's Shibuya, we've heard whispers that it's about to appear on menus as an alternative to palate-cleansing sorbet. You heard it here first!
