Since 2002 (at least), chefs and producers have been promoting the goodness of good old UK food. Every autumn restaurants, shops and producers celebrate British Food Fortnight by hosting events and competitions throughout the country. This year's events include the City Harvest Festival which will have a honey show, a dog agility show and food stalls, and the Urban Food Fortnight with vendors selling lamb reared in Enfield and Tottenham-made cheese (yes, really). It runs from 23rd September to 8th October.
