“Just a routine check?”

An exploration of injustice within the justice system through the lens of a young black man wrongfully arrested and the tumultuous journey that ensues following his subsequent conviction.

Imagine all you hold dear.
Family, friends, your hopes and dreams, your liberty.
Now imagine it all ripped away in an instant.

“The thing is they know I didn't do it. But hey, guilty until proven innocent... right?”

Our story follows as the main (only) character is thrust into a situation beyond his choosing or full understanding. Provoked and mocked by a system that in theory is in place to protect the rights of every man and woman.

Convicted of a crime he did not commit. Ripped away from all that he loves and left fighting not only against the system but also to keep his mind.

ADITL serves as a battle cry against social injustice giving a voice to the voiceless in this depiction of what is an evident and prominent reality for many.
