STEAM!
Who invented Coding? Why is maths useful for healing people? How on earth do you dig a tunnel under the Thames and what keeps a Fidget Spinner going? This February half Term at the Ragged School Museum come and use Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths to find out how the Victorians did the same to shape our lives today!
We’ll be using Art to learn about the physics behind Victorian spinning tops, get to grips with the binary brilliance of Babbage's 'Analytical Engine' and explore all things STEAM! (STEM with an A!)
Plus our Victorian Classroom and Victorian Kitchen will be open for you to explore along with the rest of our 19th century poor school. And of course, the Towpath Café will be open for those parched grown-ups!
