We invite the local community to join us and hear more about potential solutions to support our healthcare challenges.

From climate emergencies to huge healthcare challenges, we’re accelerating towards a global crisis.

We believe that ‘local’ is the new ‘global’ – and our researchers can show you just some of the ways in which world-changing discoveries, innovations and social initiatives might be closer to home than you think.

Our first free talk is called Doctor's Orders.

On Wednesday 12 February, we will show you new research in health economics, sociology and digital services, asking why and how people make decisions on their own health, unpicking the language behind period poverty in the media, and investigating just how simulations could save the NHS.

All our lectures are free to attend so come join us from 6pm and be ready to ask your questions. Then take the conversation into the atrium for our complimentary drinks reception ahead of our lecture which starts at 6.30pm. Find out more and book your free place here.
