The Family Victorian Experience

The Royal Albert Hall is delighted to continue its successful Victorian Experience, a 70-minute unique and interactive tour of the iconic venue. Families are taken back to the Victorian era by two exciting characters in costume, one who works at the Hall and the other a box holder, who will bring the Hall’s rich and vibrant history to life. On the tour you’ll visit the auditorium, explore the different front of house areas and children will even get the chance to dress up themselves and experience first-hand what the venue was like when it first opened over 140 years ago.
