Returning for its sixth year, Rioja Tapas Fantasticas is bringing its authentic Spanish food and wine experience back to London’s Southbank.

Created by Wines from Rioja, this free Spanish food and wine festival is inspired by Calle Laurel, the famous tapas crawl in the heart of the Rioja region. Visitors can try small dishes from pop-ups from some of London’s best tapas restaurants, along with tasting reds, whites, and rosés from over 40 Rioja wineries.

This year’s festival has something for everyone, with brilliant line-up of activities including wine workshops and walks with Olly Smith and Susy Atkins; cookery demonstrations by José Pizarro; great Spanish entertainment acts performing throughout the weekend; and the brand new ‘Food Painting’ displays with Spanish artists creating works of art using edible paints made of Rioja wine and seasonal produce

£3.50 buys a tasting glass with four tokens exchangeable for samples of Rioja wine. Each wine walk and workshop is priced at £6 per person for a half hour session
