Litro Magazine, London’s leading short story magazine, will be publishing its Polish themed issue on the 17th June and celebrating the issue with a live event on the 20th June at St Pancras Station.

This month’s Polish issue brings together a fascinating collection of texts from authors who live in both Poland and abroad, each offering a glimpse of a different and unforgettable world. One of the most exciting aspects of the pieces included in the issue are the intriguing new ways Polish authors engage with the vastness of human experience in the context of the past and the new migrant existence.

To celebrate the launch of the issue, for one night only, Litro will be taking over a corner of St Pancras International Station on Thursday 20th June for an evening of readings, discussions and live music inspired by Polish Literature.

Speakers include: Grażyna Plebanek, Wioletta Grzegorzewska, A.M. Bakalar, Jacek Dehnel and 2012’s UK Slam Champion Adam Kammering. Music from avant-garde harpist and Rockabilly Gypsy Jazz pioneer Lucinda Belle and DJ Liminal Londoner.

Whether you’re into short stories, spoken word, literary talks or just after good time with friends and like minded people, it’s going to be a great night, and best of all it’s FREE so bring your friends.
