George Fenton

George Fenton’s work in film and television has seen him score for over 100 films and collaborate with some of the most influential filmmakers in the UK. His ambitious and masterful approach to music is most recognised in the BBC landmark series The Blue Planet, Planet Earth and Frozen Planet, for which he has won numerous awards including a BAFTA and Emmy award for Best Television Score. His most recent scores include Stephen Frears’ latest film Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight, the music for Ken Loach’s film The Spirit of ’45 and the hugely successful Untold Stories by Alan Bennett, which has recently moved to the West End. Fenton is five times Oscar nominated.
