In honour of his role as the first Postmaster General of the US Postal Service and his many other achievements in science, innovation and diplomacy, Benjamin Franklin has featured on postage stamps many times around the world.

As the summer holidays draw to an close, children will enjoy a tour of Benjamin Franklin House in the company of Polly Hewson, Franklin’s landlady’s daughter. Inspired by Franklin’s example they will then create and write their own giant ‘stamp postcard’ to Polly telling her all about their summer adventures.
