Tickets are now available for the world’s largest family history show, Who Do You Think You Are? Live. Following this year’s hugely successful show with its highest-ever attendance, the show is back and will return to London’s Olympia, from 20 to 22 February 2014.

Sponsored by Ancestry.co.uk, the show will be packed full of features designed to help every visitor successfully trace their family history and 2014 will see a special focus on the centenary of World War One.

The show is designed to appeal to everyone with an interest in tracing their past. Visitors can find out more about their ancestors from historical documents, unidentified photos, family heirlooms, interactive workshops, DNA analysis and much more; guided by over 120 exhibitors and numerous genealogy experts.

NEW!
2014, as the centenary year of WWI, will see the show commemorate our ancestors in the military and the social history of the time. For the first time ever, the Imperial War Museum will be exhibiting alongside a number of organisations with military and social history archives.

INFORMATIVE
The popular Society of Genealogists' workshop programme will allow visitors to listen to a series of experts offering detailed and concise help in all aspects of tracing family trees, in terms of best practise and information available. They also offer one-to-one sessions, making the Who Do You Think You Are? Live experience accessible, interactive and enlightening for people of all ages.

CELEBRITY GUESTS
BBC1’s recent series of Who Do You Think You Are? featured a variety of famous faces delving into their history and this year’s live show will play host to some of these household names. As the highest rated history programme on the BBC, its audience rose to 4.9 million in series 9.

The first in line to appear is veteran reporter John Simpson, who will be talking about his experience of filming to BBC TV regular Tessa Dunlop in the Celebrity Theatre.

Established favourite Eric Knowles will be the onsite ‘Heirloom Detective’, dating antiques in the photography gallery and connecting ageing treasures with events from the past.

John Simpson and Eric will be joined by more famous names to be announced closer to the opening of the show.
