The Resonators are the guitarists who created the sound we call rock and they are the subjects of photographer Scarlet Page’s latest project. This epic collection of revealing portraits features a host of names and faces including Slash, Sir Paul McCartney, Brian May, Paul Weller, Wilko Johnson and guitarists from bands like Oasis, Blur, The Eagles, Sex Pistols and The Stone Roses.

Scarlet grew up surrounded by music and musicians; she is the daughter of Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, one of the real rock guitar greats. She went on to make her career photographing musicians but she had been working for15 years before she ‘officially’ photographed Jimmy for The Sunday Times.

This exhibition forms part of Teenage Cancer Trust’s annual residency at the Royal Albert Hall, a charity that has strong links with the music industry and that Scarlet herself feels passionately about. Prints signed by Scarlet and the featured guitarists will be auctioned and limited edition prints available on-line through Artspace.
