More At The Hall: Classical Coffee Mornings (Junior)

We have collaborated with our neighbours at the Royal College of Music for this exciting series of concerts. Classical Coffee Mornings give you the chance to listen to outstanding talent from the College at Sunday morning classical recitals in the Hall's Elgar Room. Tickets include a hot drink and a pastry.

Abby Bowen is 17 years old and will perform a programme of music for viola by Bloch and Rebecca Clarke. She began learning the viola aged 6 and for the past three years has studied with renowned UK violist Sarah Jane Bradley. Abby attends the Royal College of Music Junior Department where she is principal viola in the Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, as well as participating in several chamber groups. Abby is also a principal player in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, having been a member of the orchestra since 2011.
Abby has performed widely as a chamber musician, often representing the Royal College of Music Junior Department, including several performances for HRH Prince Charles and the Queen’s coronation festival at Buckingham Palace with an ensemble from the National Youth Orchestra.
