Corelli College Showcase: (The Reel) Macbeth and 20 minutes at the Cutty Sark

Kidbrooke Theatre Company @ Corelli College is considered the most outstanding school-based company in the UK and has received a host of awards and national acclaim. On Sunday 9th February, the group will join a star studded list of performers in a special programme of shows to mark the grand opening of The Michael Edwards Studio Theatre at the iconic Cutty Sark.

(The Reel) Macbeth

Kidbrooke Theatre Company @ Corelli College presents a comic and highly energetic interpretation that takes The Scottish Play back to its geographical roots, presenting the story through the form of the Scottish reel, Highland dancing and physical theatre.

20 minutes

This is a short piece devised by A2 students. Using the technique of verbatim theatre and based on numerous interviews and extensive research, three young actors perform a multitude of different characters presenting their attitudes to the school’s neighbourhood.
