Our monthly special at the Balham Bowls Club!

Sarah Kendall
Well, she stormed it with new material at our new material night a little while ago and it's a pleasure to welcome her back to close tonights show. She won Australia's Raw Comedy competition in 1998 and has not looked back, regularly appearing on Australian television, before moving to the United Kingdom. She's a Fringe Festival favourite, having been nominated for the prestigious Perrier award in 2004. She has also performed in the Melbourne Comedy Festival regularly since 2000. In the UK, Kendall has been a 'special guest' on the BBC Radio 2 comedy show Parsons and Naylor's Pull-Out Sections, part of an all-female sketch comedy show called Beehive also starring Alice Lowe, Barunka O'Shaughnessy and Clare Thomson, which was aired on E4. And recently she's been a guest stand up comic on BBC Three's Russell Howard's Good News:

Adam Hess
He's known for barking out the funny, autistic one-liners' (chortle) and also won the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2011 with this style. He's now a bit calmer, mixing these terrific short jokes with some anecdotes to create a style all of his own. We love him and I'm sure you will too.

Alistair Green
It's great to welcome Al back to We Love Comedy, having stormed it a couple of times at our old Brixton show last year. His take on the world is unique and well, we'll leave it to the Guardian to tell you more: "When it comes to buried treasures, Green is one of the most well hidden: a long-standing favourite with acclaimed comics such as Pappy's and Joe Wilkinson.."

Samantha Baines
Last year, Samantha hit our screens as Steph in Lee Nelson's Well Funny People on BBC3. But she doesn't just act funny, she is also a comedian of some regard, both as a stand-up and as one third of all female sketch group Vinegar, who are finalists in this years NATYS. The new Current has described her as "Truly gifted and talented" and we couldn't agree more.
