To celebrate 150 years since John Lewis first began as a humble draper's shop on London's Oxford Street, the department store is set to unveil an interactive exhibition called ‘Stories of a Shopkeeper’ in its flagship shop. The exhibition will showcase artefacts, documents and photographs from the John Lewis archive, many of which are being shown to the public for the first time.

In a first for the retailer, the shop will also open its roof to London, with a unique roof garden designed by Royal Horticultural Society National Young Designer of the Year, Tony Woods. The rooftop will be transformed with a mix of traditional and contemporary garden design into a tranquil space for customers to relax, and enjoy some of the best views in town.
