Makegood Festival is an extravaganza boasting a vast, indie pop-up market of over 200 brand new creative businesses.

From Thursday 29 May through to Monday, 1 June, Makegood will be a global springboard for over 200 of the UK’s most disruptive and innovative creative brands.

Hosted in London’s iconic Old Selfridges Hotel, adjoined to Selfridges on Oxford Street, Makegood will play host to a series of punchy talks and debates from an unexpected lineup of the world’s most fascinating creative minds. You’ll get to hear them speak and impart wisdom on how to make a living from doing what you love.

Makegood is for independent creative business owners, aspiring and new entrepreneurs, shoppers who love discovering the next big thing, fans of contemporary culture, buyers from the world's leading brands and anyone who wants to learn how to start and sustain a creative business.

Harriet Vine MBE, Creative Director, Tatty Devine

"When I was at Art school the idea of being able to create things and make a living felt like something for the lucky few, I had every faith I would do it, just no idea how to turn that into a reality. If you have a original creative idea that you dream of getting paid for but don't know how to get started in business, get yourself to Makegood asap!"

Dan Germain, Group Head of Brand & Creative, Innocent

“There's actually nothing else like this in the UK.”

Doug Richard, founder and CEO, School for Startups

“I’m delighted to confirm that School for Startups is bringing Makegood to town. Last year’s Startup Showcase at Somerset House was just the start. This year’s festival will be twice the size with even more creative business popups, visitors, events and speakers”

Linda Hewson, Creative Director, Selfridges & Co

"Makegood showcases the hottest up and coming fashion labels, craft food and alternative lifestyle companies all on display in a menagerie of creative pop-ups. We are delighted to be providing a venue and platform that successfully supports young, entrepreneurial talent. Supporting new creative businesses and individuals in this way sits very close to our own philosophy"

Mixologist Frankie Snobel, founder, Tipplesworth

“The Festival manages to be both a hub of contacts and a great day out for the public. Sales of my cocktail kits rocketed in the months after the festival due in large part to the buzz created by that weekend.”

So why not pop in to our big, beautiful melting pot of culture, creativity and entrepreneurship.
